The Sharon Independence Day celebration is funded entirely by your donations. We receive no financial support from the Town of Sharon. 

 

Dear Friends:
 
     We are all worried about our economic future.  Many fellow residents are taking steps and making decisions, on some occasions involuntarily, which impact their and our activities.
 
     Conscious of the above, the Friends of the Fourth Committee are of the opinion that life events, such as the community coming together and celebrating our Independence Day, are even more important. With this in mind, the committee members will continue working to have our celebration, which has been continuous for more than a century.
  
    Sharon’s Independence Day festivities are completely and exclusively funded by your donations. It is through your generosity that we can provide a quality Independence Day Celebration for our community.

 

Please make a donation in one of three ways:

1) Place a donation in our donation buckets on July 3. Donation buckets will be located at the main entrance on Beach Street as well as the secondary entrance on Gunhouse Street.

 

2) By mail, send a check payable to "Friends of the Fourth" to:

3) Donate online using PayPal - it is fast, secure, and easy. You can print out a receipt or have it e-mailed to you. The PayPal service allows anyone to donate any way they prefer, using a credit card or a bank account, without sharing any financial information with the Sharon Fourth of July Committee. If you are a corporation, we can really use your donation, and we would like to send you a personalized donation request letter. Considering that over ten thousand people typically attend the celebration, it’s a great way to help our community and promote your business.
