The 2014 Schedule of Events:

Sunday, June 29:
9:00 AM - Sharon Five Road Race - for more information, go to our Road Race page

Thursday, July 3:

4:00 PM - Bicycle and Doll Carriage Parade - the parade will travel on Beach Street to the bandstand.  (Line up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45 PM, and admire all the decorations!)

4:30 PM - 9:30 PM - Lakeside Celebration, including:

4:30PM - Face Painting and craft activities, at the picnic tables on the grass outside the bandstand, organized by the Sharon Recreation Department

5:00 PM - Demonstration by Field Martial Arts Academy

4:30 A variety of food and drinks will be sold by Sharon Boy Scouts Troop 95, Congregation Etz Chaim, and the Sharon Rotary Club. 

Popcorn from Kettle Load O' This  

Ice cream from Ruby's Ice Cream and Frozen Lemonade

Variety of foods from the Snack Shack at the beachfront

- Carnival Games

- Train Rides and slot car racing from  Roaming Railroad . The Roaming Railroad is a Sharon Independence Day Celebration tradition!

- Climbing Wall

- Live music featuring "Pieces of Eight" (6:30 until 9:30)


8:00 PM - Pie Eating Contest ($50 first place prize, must be 18 years or older to participate.   Sign up at the main gate with a Sharon Independence Day Committee member)


9:30PM -  Fireworks!
